Security
Health Plan is a health maintenance organization (HMO)

residents of northern, western and central Wisconsin.

Dr. Julie Thums attended Augustana College in Rock
Island, Illinois where she received her Bachelor of Arts
degree in Pre-Med and Biology. She graduated from Ohio State
University College of Optometry, one of the leading
optometric programs in the United States. She then joined
the HealthView Eye Care Center-Medford Staff in July 2004. Growing up on a
farm in Northern Illinois, Dr. Thums enjoys outdoor
activities and describes herself as a small town girl at
heart. |

Dr. Andy Baldus received his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from UW Eau Claire, and went on to earn his Doctor of Optometry degree from Ferris State University in Michigan. In January 2002, Dr. Baldus joined the HealthView Eye Care Center-Colby Staff. He and his wife Angie make their home
in Abbotsford, along with their three sons, Jackson,
Samuel, and Ray.
Both Doctor Baldus and his wife are Wisconsin
natives and enjoy outdoor sports and activities. |

Dr. Jeff Bourgerie claims a very colorful schooling
background. Traveling during much of his youth, he attended
schools in Minnesota, Michigan, California, and graduated
from High School in Brazil. He completed undergraduate studies
at the University of Michigan and received his
Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of
Optometry in 1988. He joined the HealthView Eye Care Center-Medford in June of that year
Dr. Bourgerie and his wife Stephanie have
three children, Jackie, Andrew and Courtney. As a family, they enjoy
spending time on the lake and skiing. |

Dr. Perry Arndt was
born and raised in Medford, attended Medford Area
Schools, and completed his undergraduate
studies at the UW River Falls. Dr. Arndt attended the
Illinois College of Optometry where he received his Doctor
of Optometry degree. He opened the 'Medford Eye Clinic'
practice over thirty years ago and has enjoyed meeting the
'eye health care' needs of surrounding communities. Dr. Arndt and his wife Karen, enjoy spending time with their three children and their families. They also enjoy the new role of being grandparents. |

Dr. Tori Flood was born and raised in Medford, and attended Medford Area Schools. She graduated from the UW-Madison and went on to receive her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Ohio State University-College of Optometry, where she finished in the top ten percent of her class. Dr. Flood’s focus is on comprehensive eye health care with a special interest in contact lens fitting and diagnosis and management of ocular disease. In her spare time, she enjoys outdoor activities, exercise and music.
Dr. Flood and her husband David, also a former Medford resident, currently reside in Chippewa Falls. |
